Covid-19 Related News and Events

We are sad to announce due to the pandemic caused by Covid-19, we have reconsidered offering in-person classes for this summer.

We know that this may be a huge disappointment and inconvenience for many in our community that were looking forward to partaking in our upcoming summer activities, however we at The Academic Medics want to ensure that the well-being of our staff, students, and other community members health are considered first and foremost.

Though, not all is lost….

We are currently in the works with redesigning a few of our in-person classes to become 100% virtual.

Such courses may include:

Chess for Beginners (All Age Ranges)
Tech Foundations and Career Explorations

Including a new course by design:
Sight Word Genius (Prep & Intervention for Kindergarteners & 1st Graders)

A mini prep course/review for rising Kindergarten & 1st grade students
This course includes an hour class session, two 1-on-1 assessment sessions (held before/beginning & the end of the course), and mini learn/practice instructional activities to do at home for families can continue to learn and grow together with their young readers in training.
