Our Current course offerings

Tentatively Sundays 5:00 - 7:00 PM: Math & Mechanical Reasoning Exam Prep (3-Month Course)
Course Cost: $275.00 (scholarships for reduced tuitions & payment plans are available)
> This is a moderately accelerated & jammed pack course focused on key targeted pre-algebra, algebra I, and basic geometry/trig skills needed to ace the math portion of the exam; we will not have time to address those fundamental topics/skills in this course. We will also lightly cover topics on simple machines, pulleys, levels, gears, and mechanical theory to help gain some familiarity with those topics as well. If you struggle working with factions, decimals, reading ruler measurements, or converting units please register for Math Fundamentals for the Skilled Trades course.

Tentatively Wednesdays 5:00 - 7:00 PM: Reading Exam Prep (3-Month Course)
Course Cost: $275.00 (scholarships for reduced tuitions & payment plans are available)
> Master the art of close reading skills in a variety of texts so you can ace the reading exam over the course of this three-month course. In this course you'll learn how to quickly find the answer in a variety of genre passages, learn to identify different literary devices used with a text, and test taking tips to overcome anxiety in a timed environment. This course is great for those whose first language isn't English or have scored low on the reading portion of the exam. Not only will you become an avid reader, but a critical & more informed one.

Accelerated Reader Exam Prep (4 - Week Course)
Course Cost: $85 (scholarships for reduced tuitions & payment plans are available)
> Been out of school for a while? Struggle to remember the last time you read a novel or a newsletter? Join our accelerated course for those who do not struggle with the English language, but desire to brush up on some close reading tips to ace the exam on the first attempt. We'll cover a plethora of texts from different genres and approaches on how to quickly pinpoint the answers for the six main types of questions asked on the exam.

Intro to Electricity & Ohm's Law Mastery (2 Day Workshop |4-Hours) - $125
> This course will give you a great introduction into the world of electricity, circuitry, AC/DC “power” and so much more. You’ll have interactive hands-on opportunities to utilize a multimeter, identify and calculate values based off parallel & series circuits, work out Ohm’s Law problems, and etc. This workshop is to give you a glimpse into what you’ll look forward to as a prospective or future electrician.

Intro to Networking for Interested Telecom Workers (4-Hour Workshop) - $85

Math Fundamentals for the Skilled Trades (6 Weeks) - $125
> A course focused on measurements, fractions, decimals, conversions, and whole numbers & combining them to see how it's applies to different aspects of the blue-collar trades (carpentry, electricity, plumbing, and etc.) This course is suggested for as a primer for the 3-Month Exam Prep as it is an advanced and accelerated course more focused on the pre-algebra, algebra I, and geometry topics needed to pass the entrance exam.
