Didn’t do so well last year with your academic studies?
Want to get ready to transition to a high level of studies or develop better study habits before next school year?
Well, this is the course for you!
This course teaches you how to develop a balance between your study life (test prep, major paper deadlines, etc.) and your personal life (cheerleading, football, chilling at the mall with your friends, etc.) through the use of organizational and time management tools. Students in this course will learn how to prepare to handle large projects, multiple assignments, as well how to set and accomplish short-term and long-term goals. They’ll learn how to design their day (through different time management techniques) and their own study spaces, as well as discover their own learning style and best practices to use to study for particular subjects.
We’ll also teach them different mindfulness practices to help them learn how to focus better through the use of movements, breathing techniques, as well as other aides- such as exploring optimal study music, tea and snack choices, and aromatherapy scents.
